Charitable Work

The BC SPCA Vancouver Animal Hospital has a number of programs in place to offset medical costs for our clients struggling with financial issues. Through generous donations we are able to fund these programs. They include:

  • The SPCA Hospital Trust Fund – established in 1995 “The Trust” has provided support to shelters and pet guardians in genuine financial need, enabling them to access critical veterinary medical care.
  • The Galem-Hardship Fund – this fund helps with medical treatment for our low income clients.
  • The Spay/Neuter Fund – donations to this fund help pay for hundreds of spay/neuter surgeries every year.
