Kirsten graduated from the Thompson Rivers University’s Technologist program and has been with the BC SPCA Vancouver Animal Hospital since 2010. She enjoys her work with animals and also assists shelters with the provincial ringworm program. She loves the hands on work her position offers and enjoys assisting with surgery, dentistry, and maintaining the equipment of the hospital.

While she does not currently own any pets, Kirsten likes to think of herself as a “crazy cat lady” at heart. When she isn’t busy at work, she is involved in costuming projects, interactive writing seminars, and making a desperate bid to keep her tomato plants alive for the summer months. She also spends what time she can being invested in Marvel movies.
